The Nuclear Division subscribed an exhibition booth at the Hong Kong Engineers Week Carnival that was held on 3-5 March 2023 at the Harbour Side Lawn of the West Kowloon Cultural District. The Carnival is part of the continuous effort by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers to promote engineering to the general public.

The booth contained poster displays to introduce nuclear energy and highlight its applications mainly in power generation but also in other areas including medical treatment, food preservation, industrial inspection and deep space exploration. The message of nuclear energy was further amplified by a reactor model, video shows on TV about nuclear power generation and nuclear emergency planning, radiation dosimeters with samples, and a ball game connecting to neutron hitting a uranium nucleus. The booth was also well supported by information booklets on nuclear energy, radiation and emergency planning, and many small souvenirs donated generously by the Security Bureau and CLP Holdings Limited.

The booth attracted about 3,000 happy visitors from all age groups. They included quite a few who were keen to know more than basic nuclear information and were pleased to have a try with the radiation dosimeters.
