Speaker Biography:
Dr. George Tsang finished his MSc in Nuclear Engineering in 1981. He was later awarded a MSc in Applied Earth Science from the University of Hong Kong and Doctor of Science in Geology from the University of Science and Technology of China. He is a fellow geologist of AusIMM, a certified geologist of AIPG and a certified mineral appraiser of IIMA. He has been practising his profession around the world for almost twenty years. He led a team to explore uranium minerals in Nigeria in 2006 and they decided the coordinates for the exploration licence, his company continued the project for the succeeding several years. Dr. Tsang will share his experience in the exploration of the mineral in the webminar. He also did an appraisal for a uranium mine in Canada in 2015. Recently he teaches the mandated certificate course of “Radiation Safety and Protection” in Workers Unions.

The seminar is free of charge and prior registration is required. The number of participants will be limited to 100 and applicants will be served on a first-come-first-serve basis.
